This is a sensory activity to help children to understand their emotions and to give them calming down time.  Children can make their own water bottles by following the instructions, they can be taught the purpose of the jars and how to use them to help with their wellbeing and self calming techniques.  Then when they need a little support to deal with their emotions they can shake the bottle and watch the glitter swirl and then fall to the bottom, leaving a sense of calm.
