This is a great activity to give children an understanding that different coins have different values. Using 1p coins children are encouraged to count how many 1p coins it takes to make 5p, 8p or even 10p. A great activity to assess understanding of coins and their values. Can be used as a drawing/writing activity or a cut/stick activity for children who find writing difficult.
