Money making amounts with Coins

This activity supports learners who are becoming familiar with coins. The aim is to provide an understanding that many different coins can be used to make the same value. This teaching resource is presented in a shopping format, with each item having a price. Learners can cut out the coins and stick them in the boxes to show how they would use the coins to pay for each item, using an exact value. Great for KS1 children when learning about money, also works well for older children with special educational needs, when learning about different coins and values.
