Lines of symmetry or no lines of symmetry cut and sort activity
This is a great sorting activity using a cut out and fold method. Cut out the shapes, fold them to find any lines of symmetry, draw along the folds of any lines of symmetry on each shape, then sort accordingly. This gives learners a better understanding of what symmetry is and to recognise that not all shapes have lines of symmetry.
