This is a great problem solving activity, children should work their way through the Island Survival Task Book to complete each stage of their journey trying to survive on the desert island. Using problem solving and thinking skills about the right equipment to use, thinking about why each item is a good choice for the task in hand. Children should also keep track of their survival journey by completing a diary each day,to explain what happened and relate it to senses and feelings.
