Comparing Money Amounts SEN

This is a visual activity with images of real coins to assess the understanding that more coins don't necessarily mean more in value. Children need to make comparisons between two piggy banks, counting the money to work out the value in each. A mark should be put on the piggy bank with the most money in value. This can be a tricky concept to grasp, lots of practical activities should be done by way of going to shops and doing role play activities to really consolidate this skill.
