Capacity Estimate and Measure KS1

Measuring capacity is a great hands on activity.  Children can complete this investigation of filling different objects with water to see how many will be needed to fill up a 1 litre jug.  Before doing the practical investigation though children should estimate how many might be needed, then see if they are right on completion.
