Year 1 Phonics Phase 3

Year 1 Phase 3 phonics begins with being introduced to more sounds and recapping those learned previously. Children will be taught to segment and blend words to support reading. Many printable Phase 3 resources are available to download and print to support early reading and spelling. The teaching of the Phonics phases continues throughout KS1.
