These are great to do 1:1 work with children as part of a nurturing intervention, children can be a little creative in designing an invention that they feel may help others, it can be a toy, a piece of furniture, a fiddle activity or anything really. They can also discuss how they are feeling and think about what has gone well and what hasn't gone so well. Using a restorative approach, we can talk about different strategies to learn from that experience and think about what we could do next time if something similar happens.
