Monster Simile Poem Activity

This activity is a great way to encourage children to develop their writing by using similes, it can be used alongside the simile and metaphor powerpoint which can be downloaded separately.  Children can use the prompt guides to come up with a range of similes of their own to describe their monster in their own poem.  This is a lovely writing activity to provide a deeper knowledge and understanding.
