First - Then Charts | SEN Support

These First/Then boards are ideal for learners who need motivation and structure to complete activities. Often used with children with special educational needs, stick an image of the activity they need to complete in the 'first' box and an activity from a choice of things the child enjoys doing in the 'then' box. By having a clear visual image, children gain an understanding that they need to complete the first activity and then their chosen activity then becomes active. A great motivation tool, simple but very effective.
