Everyday Materials Activities Year 2

This is a great set of activities to help with the teaching of Everyday Materials as part of Science in Year 2, KS1.  These activities can be used to support Year 2 planning, or they can be used alongside our planning which is also available to download.  This selection of ideas aim to help children to meet the objectives for the current curriculum by learning about absorbant and waterproof materials.   There are also other activities available to download separately which fit well with this practical topic.  Complete investigations and do some hands on learning with these fun ideas.
