Children in World War II News Report Activity

This activity allows children to write about what they have learned in a news report.  Write an article about the children having to pack and leave their parents to go to a strange town or village many miles away due to the war.  What was it like?  How did they feel?  This is a great chance for children to really show what they have learned and incorporate it into some very detailed writing.
